Fin Capital is seeking Business Development (BD) team members (Associates and Vice Presidents) to support its engagement with global financial services companies. These roles are a key part of the firm’s external-facing function and provide critical day-to-day support across bank investor engagement, portfolio company value-add, and industry network building. BD team members will work both with our IR/Capital Formation and Investment functions to support Fin’s investment offerings and the opportunity to introduce Fin’s portfolio companies for digital innovation and commercial engagement. The ideal candidate will have a passion for financial services, FinTech/software, and business development/partnerships with previous experience in related functions and channels.

Responsibilities:
Support the sourcing of net new and relationship deepening with existing financial services relationships (banks, asset/wealth managers, and insurers) for the firm.
Engage with relevant financial services stakeholders on Fin’s investment offerings in coordination with the firm’s IR/Capital Formation team.
Coordinate with the investment team and Fin’s portfolio companies to introduce Fin’s portfolio companies to the appropriate sponsors at financial services institutions.
Fin works as a single global team and each BD team member will ensure active communication and coordination with appropriate team members, including activity reporting, CRM management, internal calls, and other channels.
Support in market research and mapping, materials development, data room updates, and other operational processes where appropriate.
Organize video and in-person meetings and roadshows for both capital formation/IR and investment team members, in coordination with Executive Administration team.
Support firm and industry events, while assisting in generating content for meetings, webinars, and marketing distributions.
Qualifications/Ideal Characteristics:
Relevant experience for the Vice President (5-7 years) and Associate (3-5 years) preferably within similar functions in financial services, FinTech, investment banking, or private markets.
You are passionate about the business development function and developing long-term and deep relationships with financial services companies – typically C-suite and management team members.
You are a self-starter, team player and have a proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively with a high degree of attention-to-detail in a dynamic and collaborative work environment under tight deadlines.
You are IT literate and highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and industry tech (Attio, Pitchbook, etc.). The firm also uses significant AI tooling and can provide training to ensure you have optimized productivity.
You are comfortable with extensive travel and working irregular hours to accommodate industry engagement.
Undergraduate degree at minimum is required for the role.
