Fin is seeking Capital Formation/Investor Relations Associates and Analysts to support the firm’s efforts as it scales into its next phase of growth. These roles are a key part of the firm’s external-facing function and provide critical day-to-day support across investor engagement, communications, and operations. Associate/Analyst will report to senior members of the Investor Relations team and collaborate closely with both internal investment and operational teams and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include supporting outreach to a broad set of institutional and strategic investors—such as pensions, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, banks, insurance companies, and asset/wealth managers. The ideal candidate will have previous capital formation experience in private markets (venture capital or private equity) settings and familiarity with institutional investors allocating to alternative investments.

Responsibilities:
Support the sourcing of prospective LPs and assist in managing the capital formation/investor relations processes, driven through Fin’s CRM (i.e., ensure accuracy of responses and that all deadlines are met; update LP contact information, client activity and investment interests).
Assist in producing activity reports and tracking action items from our CRM.
Maintain outreach language across Fin’s fundraising activities.
Assist in administration of Fin’s virtual data rooms.
Assist in responding to ad-hoc information requests, including RFPs/DDQs during fundraising activities.
Conduct competitor and market research, with an emphasis on identifying LPs investing in/open to FinTech allocations.
Establish and manage workflows to meet all internal and external deadlines related to capital formation/investor relations, initiate innovative ideas and creative approaches to help increase efficiency and further the capital formation and broader goals of the firm.
Organize video and in-person meetings and roadshows.
Assist in preparing regular content for LPs, including marketing materials, models, and Fin’s quarterly Navigator webinars.
Work on LP events, including our annual in-person Navigator Day, bi-annual Navigator webinars, quarterly Compass updates and other events across each calendar year.
Identify industry conferences ideal for Fin’s participation and coordinate participation.
Coordinate and work with other areas of the firm effectively as part of a collaborative team
Support the subscription closing process (i.e., ensure appropriate AML/KYC documentation is provided by LPs, ensure appropriate FATCA/CRS documentation is provided by LPs, as necessary).
Qualifications/Ideal Characteristics:
Relevant experience for the Associate (3-5 years) and Analyst (2-3 years) roles, preferably within a private markets firm or investment bank, focusing on capital raising/formation for PE and VC asset classes.
You are passionate about the capital formation/investor relations function and developing long-term and deep relationships with LPs
You are comfortable discussing private capital strategies and asset classes with institutional investors.
You are a self-starter, team player and have a proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively with a high degree of attention-to-detail in a dynamic and collaborative work environment under tight deadlines.
You are IT literate and highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and industry tech (Salesforce/Altvia, Pitchbook, etc.)
You are comfortable with extensive travel and working irregular hours to accommodate overseas investor prospects and LPs.
Undergraduate degree at minimum, masters degree and multi-lingual (Spanish, Arabic, other) capabilities a plus.
