An ideal candidate will handle a diverse set of tasks and projects, while orchestrating the workstreams of our Managing Partner and other executives. While industry expertise is not a requirement, a candidate should learn quickly about the asset management and FinTech industries. We are looking for someone who is excited to grow both in the industry and at Fin.

Responsibilities include:

  • Project management across a broad scope of responsibilities aligned to the Managing Partner’s functional oversight across the firm, which includes supporting functions from hiring/team management, investment pipeline in VC and PE funds, co-investments, board responsibilities, thematic research, business/corporate development, and investor relations

  • Tracking firm goals and milestones

  • Processing internal and external communications – e.g. e-mails, newsletters, investor updates, socials and thought leadership content

  • Coordinating scheduling and contact management performed by EAs

  • Lead or contribute to special projects as assigned by the Managing Partner, which may include due diligence on new investment opportunities, market research, or process improvement initiatives

  • Supporting other functions of the Managing Partner and other executives as needed

  • Not a 9-5 role, meaningful travel and strong work ethic expected

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Self-starter, genuinely intellectually curious, attention to detail, and passionate about FinTech and its impact on all aspects of the future.

  • Excitement to join and help scale a specialist VC focused on FinTech software in North America, UK/EU, LatAm, Israel, and Asia (Singapore/Japan)

  • Passion for FinTech, along with InsurTech, Enterprise Software, RiskTech and adjacent spaces

  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, both verbally and in writing

  • Alignment with Fin’s values in working in collaborative teams, high integrity, merit-driven and no ego/entitlement.

  • 4-6 years of previous work experience with a background in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, management consulting, and/or tech operating roles (Product Managers, BD/Sales, Corp Dev/Finance, etc.)

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with significant “span of control” to manage a significant number of active workstreams and projects at once

  • Master’s degree a plus

  • Foreign language skills (Spanish, Japanese or other) a plus
